Kings Walden Guest House near Tzaneen offers comfortable bed and breakfast guest house accommodation in the foothills of the Northern Drakensberg. The famous 3 hectare (6 acre) formal English garden is an attraction in itself with water features, hidden grottos and panoramic views.
Originally, Bill Tooley acquired the farm, Narrowdale, in 1904, just off the Zeederburg coach route between Pietersburg (now Polokwane) and the Murchison and Selati goldfields. The guest house was established by Tana (nee Tooley) and David Hilton-Barber in 1992.
Today 5 spacious suites are available as guest house accommodation in the Limpopo. Suites have individual cottage style decor, a sitting area, open log fireplace, ceiling fan, tea and coffee making facilities, satellite TV, a family suite with double bunk for children and a kitchenette.
Kings Walden has absolutely stunning gardens. This formal English garden has a swimming pool fed by natural spring water features and a mirrored rose garden. Picnic hampers are available on request at this guest house accommodation in the Limpopo.
